Amazon.in has a PS5 Standard listing whose price is hidden until checkout. We could not verify a number, and the seller is reportedly a third-party store rather than Amazon itself. Treat any Amazon.in figure with caution until it’s visible on the page.
Flipkart’s only hit is a marketplace pre-order sold as a code in the box “for PC,” per the listing’s own title. No PC version of GTA 6 has been announced. Whatever that listing is selling, skip it.

Why Indian store pages say November 18

Look closely at either Indian console store page and you’ll see a release date of 18/11/2026. That is not a date change. The PlayStation listing carries a release timestamp of 6:30 PM UTC on November 18, which is 12:00 AM IST on November 19 — the stores are displaying the UTC moment of what looks like a midnight-local unlock in India.

Rockstar has not announced an official launch hour. A fan-made countdown site claims 10:30 AM IST, but that’s an unofficial calculation that contradicts the store’s own timestamp. Our read: plan for around midnight going into November 19, and treat any specific hour as unconfirmed until Rockstar publishes one.

What to watch

Three things between now and launch. A clean Amazon.in listing with a visible price would give India a fourth verified channel, and we’ll add it here the day it appears. Take-Two’s earnings call on August 7 is the next scheduled moment any pricing or edition news could surface, alongside the first official pre-order numbers. And Rockstar still owes every region an official launch-hour announcement.
