An honest record of what's actually known about GTA 6

NeonPulse runs as a GTA 6 evidence desk: an independent publication that separates what Rockstar has actually said from what the internet has decided. It exists because the biggest game launch of the decade generated an enormous amount of coverage, and very little of it draws that line.

The problem we're solving

Search almost any GTA 6 question and you'll get confident answers to things nobody knows. Invented PC system requirements. Map sizes stated to the square mile when no official figure exists for GTA 6 or GTA 5. Pre-order numbers traced to a single anonymous social post. Editions that were never announced.

None of that is harmless. People make buying decisions on it — which console, which edition, whether to wait for a PC version that has never been announced.

Our answer is structural rather than editorial posturing: every article’s core claim wears its evidence level. A coloured chip on every article tells you whether the core claim is confirmed by Rockstar, estimated by analysts, or an unconfirmed rumour we're tracking. You never have to guess which one you're reading.

The NeonPulse desk byline covers reporting compiled from primary sources — Rockstar Newswire posts, first-party store listings, and Take-Two investor filings. Research and claim-checking are AI-assisted. Every record identifies its evidence tier and named source. Source re-verification of the complete claim ledger is still in progress, and a human review of the complete ledger has not yet occurred.

Navneet founded NeonPulse because he got tired of GTA 6 "news" that turned out to be somebody's guess written in a confident font. He has been playing Grand Theft Auto since long before it needed a tier system, splits his downtime between controllers and the squat rack, and is the person who decides whether a claim on this site earns a Confirmed tag. The rule he holds everyone to, himself included: if Rockstar did not say it, we do not print it as though they did — no matter how badly we want it to be true.

We're a small independent operation, not a games-media network. We don't receive review copies, attend press events, or get embargoed briefings, and we don't pretend otherwise — everything here is assembled from public, primary material.

How we're funded

NeonPulse currently earns nothing. There are no affiliate links, sponsored posts or paid placements anywhere on the site, and no adverts are shown. Google's AdSense script does run on every page while the site awaits approval, so Google's ad system already sets its cookies — our privacy policy states exactly what that means. If display advertising is approved, or if a buying guide ever carries an affiliate link, the page will say so above the content before you click.

Commercial partners, should we ever have any, will get no say in what we publish or how a claim is tiered. Our editions coverage tells readers to buy the cheaper version and upgrade later if they want to — advice that would cost us commission if we earned any, and happens to be correct.

Corrected September 13, 2026. This section previously said the site "plans to earn" through affiliate links and that our advice "costs us commission". The first implied articles with affiliate links exist; the second described income the site does not receive. Both contradicted our privacy policy and terms, which had been corrected on August 9 while this page was missed.
